Hi All!

We are pleased to announce a new section on our webstore--DEEP DISCOUNTS! These are items that we may only have one or two left of, need to clear out, been sitting on our shelf for too long, discontinued, etc. We aren't able to re-order or get more of these in, but it's a section worth checking out for some amazing deals. The Deep Discounts section starts at a minimum of 40% off retail price, but many of the items in there are more than 40% off. Please note--some items may not be available for immediate pick-up in the store (they're over in our warehouse). We are happy to pull it for you for pick-up the following day.

Hello again all!

Best laid plans of mice and men... at least in terms of our blog posting! We tried last week to post every other day, but it just didn't happen!

We were SO busy last week with at least three major recitals this past weekend (Great job on all those! We tried to come to them all!).

I think we set a new record in tights sales--200 pairs of tights in less than 48 hours! WOWIE!

Abby, my 14-month old daughter, also received a treat--her first pull on "powder puff" tutu! I just posted photos of her in it on the Dance and More Store Facebook page! How can you resist her with a binky in the mouth and sippy cup in hand?!

The Hathaway ballet workshop (taking place at the Cosmopolitan Hotel, right off the Fayetteville Square) is next weekend. Unfortunately, until our new building is built, a hotel ballroom was the best we could find for this weekend. Next year, we should be able to hold it in a much better environment!

We know that the ACT and several companies auditions are this weekend, but we hope you could join us for a class or two! The schedule is posted below as well as on our website, and you can pre-register online. If you want the whole weekend, there is a deposit option of $25 with the remainder due at the door.

Also--we are holding a give-away contest now through June 12 for the Fox's So You Think You Can Dance bag from Capezio, which has a water bottle, dance bag (obviously), t-shirt, towel, and a few other goodies. All you have to do to be entered is either make or have made a purchase since May 12 and/or attend at least one class from the Hathaway ballet workshop!

Two last things before I sign off for today:
1. Please let us know if you want us to post an article/event/announcement to the blog. We're also taking topics for discussion on our blog.
2. If you know anyone who plays golf, there is a GREAT golf tournament coming up that supports the Chaplains in the area hospitals. It's the Physicians Special Tee.

7:30-8:30: Variations (both intermediate and advanced)

Saturday

9:00-10:30 Technique Class (Both intermediate and advanced)

10:30-10:45 Break/Snack

10:45-12:00 Pointe

12:00-12:30 Lunch (for kids); Lunch for instructors goes until 1:00pm

12:30-1:00pm Activity with kids

1:00-2:30 Technique Class (both intermediate and advanced)

2:30-2:45 Break

2:45 -4:00 Variations

Sunday

1:00-2:30 Technique Class

2:30-3:30 Pointe/Variations

*Pointe classes may be taken on flat if desired.
